When we hear the term, “Silence is golden,” it means that it is often better to remain silent than to speak. Being silent is not an option toward injustice. We must speak up for justice and peace for all.
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Every born-again believer must be doing the good that the Lord requires. Doing good is a REQUIREMENT for anyone who follows Christ.
Indeed, silence is not golden for Christ followers in the face of injustice. The LORD requires of us to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with Him. (Micah 6:8). Speak up. Be a voice. Break the silence. Maintain justice and do what is right. The Lord is coming soon and His righteousness will be revealed.
