Children’s Ministry Is Serious
We welcome your child or children, ages 2-11, to the Spiritual Harvest Children Ministry! We want you to know what a great blessing it is for us to serve you. The biblical responsibility of evangelizing our children, encouraging our families, and edifying our servants is one we take very seriously. The following information will help you to get to know us better.
Children Can Glorify God
The Children’s Ministry of Spiritual Harvest Worship Center exists to glorify God through evangelizing children, encouraging parents, and edifying servants so that the gospel may be spread among our children, families may be supported, and the church may be strengthened. We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through our children’s ministry program. If you were to look around and see the number of young people who reach adulthood, and have not decided to follow Christ, you will know that the need for a children’s ministry, in the Lord’s house, is evident. We believe that it is very important for a church to have a children’s program to help them receive Jesus into their lives.
Our Children Have Fun
The Children’s Ministry is also fun for our children. God invented fun for His own glory! While entertainment and fun-seeking can become an idol, we should not think God is against fun. Our children have fun, but they are also learning the principles found in God’s Word. Our ministry leaders have fun, too! They love ministering to the children.
Safety and Security
Dropping your child off in the care of people you don’t know can be unnerving. Parents want to be reassured that their children are safe. Adults volunteering with children and youth must undergo a background check and fingerprinting for your child’s safety.
The Importance of Church
Another important focus of our children’s ministry is that it helps children want to come to church. There is nothing wrong with having a program that appeals to the interests of children, especially when it brings more children to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every child has a place in God’s Kingdom.
