BOB DZIADASZEK -
Pastor Bob Dziadaszek is the Lead Pastor and founder of SHWC. The church opened on September 11, 2005. Like David, Pastor Bob is often considered as “a man after God’s own heart”. He has a deep passion for the Kingdom of God and teaches the Word of God boldly and uncompromisingly. He served in the United States Marine Corp for four years.
– ADMINISTRATIVE PASTOR, MEDIA DIRECTOR
Pastor Brenda diligently assists her husband, Pastor Bob, in everything. The couple met in a local ministry school and have been married for 23 years. The love of God, indeed, is the common denominator in their lives. Together, they are the parents of four daughters, three sons-in-love, and five grandchildren.
– ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Pastor Zandra Davis is the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Brenda. She holds true to the expression: “One who wears many hats”. When asked, what drives her to serve tirelessly in ministry, she said, “I love God and I love people. Whatever I can do to assist the pastors, is what I want to do”. She is an educator and married to Brother Charlie Davis, who is also an active member.
– MEN’S MINISTRY
Pastor Felton Ivey is the Men’s Ministry Director. He has served in ministry for some 40 years and is, indeed, a blessing to the Body of Christ. He has six children and 13 grandchildren. His favorite Scripture is Luke 10:19: “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you”. He served his country in the U.S. Army, four ½ years active duty and eight ½ years reserves.
– WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Pastor Janice Ivey is the Women’s Ministry Director. Married to Pastor Felton for 38 years, they have two adult twins and two grandchildren. She demonstrates great passion for the ministry, exhorting the women that being a “woman of the Word” is a “lifestyle”. One of her favorite scriptures is Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2
– CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Pastor LaShelia Jordan is the Children’s Ministry Director. She and her husband, Deacon Jeff Jordan, have one son, a daughter-in-love, and eight grandchildren. When asked about her passion for children, she shared: “Get them while they’re small and you may impart a lot into their young minds. I love to pour the Word into them while they’re young and watch them grow.” Pastor LaShelia is presently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
– NURSING HOME
Pastor Robert Butler is the Nursing Home Ministry Director. He united with Spiritual Harvest in 2015. He and his wife, Lucille, have three children, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Pastor Butler is a “People – Person”. “I love people! It’s a blessing to see the residents lifted-up and excited to hear the Word of God, each time we visit the nursing home.”
– WORSHIP LEADER
Pastor Clarence Jones is the Worship Leader of SHWC. He has been a servant in ministry since 1983. He and his wife, Toni, have two children and three grandchildren. ‘Praise and Worship’ is an integral part of SH. Pastor Clarence’s favorite song is “Grace” by Charles Jenkins.
– NEW MEMBERS
Pastor Peggy Shaw is the New Member’s Director. She is a charter member of the church. Married to Deacon Larry Shaw, together, they have six children and nine grandchildren. She rejoices in the song, “Amazing Grace”, often referring to it as ‘her testimony’. One of her favorite Scriptures is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son and whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but shall have Everlasting life”.
– EXHORTER MINISTRY
Pastor Leslie Birdon is the Director of Exhortation Ministry. She became knowledgeable of SH through Facebook. “A sermon which intrigued me caused me to go to the church’s website. As a result, I began attending Intercessory Prayer and Tuesday Bible Study. It was ‘humanity’ and ‘love’ that I observed. I felt unity.” Eventually, she united with SH. Pastor Leslie shared that the Exhortation Ministry consists of exhorters who help to open the eyes of a believer into a greater awareness of what’s going on in the Church. She is an educator and is currently pursuing a
Doctorate degree. Her favorite Scripture is: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13
Deacon Larry Shaw is the Gatekeeper’s Ministry Director. When asked for his motivation concerning this ministry, he responded: “We are the first to reach out to all people who enter the doors at SH and we do so with a kind word and a smile”. Deacon Larry’s favorite verse of scripture is: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” – Proverbs 3: 5-6
– PUPPET MINISTRY
Deacon Jeff Jordan is the Children’s Puppet Minister Director. He often shares this ministry with his wife, Pastor LaShelia. Concerning the ministry, he expressed: “I like the character roles. I like to entertain the children with the Word of God and spiritual things. I really like getting into the characters!” The puppet ministry of SH is a great way for us to teach our children basic Christian values.
– DEACON’S MINISTRY
Deacon Willie is a widower and the father of four children and 10 grandchildren. When asked: What do you like best about SH? He responded: “It is so much I can say about my church. I love the people; I really love the pastors and the Word that they share. It’s an awesome ministry!” Deacon Willie served in the U. S. Army for two years.
Sister Alice Harris is the Director of Housekeeping. She is a widow who is the mother of five adult children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. In sharing about this ministry, Sister Alice had this to say: “I like doing the work of the Lord and fellowshipping with the members of my team.” She also shared that several years ago, she was invited to SH by her cousin, who was a member of the church already. “I loved the fellowship! The ‘happy welcoming’ is definitely one thing that caused me to unite with this church family!”, she added.
LEE ANN COOPER
– FOOD SERVICE
Sister Lee Ann Cooper is the Director of Food Service. She has four children and eight grandchildren. When asked what was special about the food service ministry, joyfully, Sister Lee Ann admits that she likes eating. In addition, she said that she likes food and likes preparing it. She also added: “I like the FELLOWSHIP that it entails.” She has worked in food service for over 30 years.
Brother Charlie Davis is the church photographer. He, together with wife, Pastor Zandra, have four children and four grandchildren. “I like serving in this ministry. It gives me joy to take pictures when people are not looking or posing”, is what Brother Charlie shared concerning his role. He faithfully served three years in the U.S. Army and three in the U.S. Navy.
– MEDIA ASSISTANT
Sister Zanee Walker is the Media Assistant. She was a teenager when she and her family came to SH. She is the daughter of Pastor Zandra and Brother Charlie. It has been a joy to watch her grow up, both spiritually and mentally! She is presently a post graduate student at ULM and is admired for demonstrating a love for God in countless ways. Although school requires lots of studying, Sister Zanee has never played “hooky” from church. Her favorite Scripture is Matthew 6:33: Jesus said: “Seek thee first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things will be given unto you.”
– MINISTRY OF HELPS
Sister Ann Gibson is the Ministry of HELPS Coordinator. She is the mother of three children and the grandmother of two. In reference to this her ministry, Sister Ann said: “I like helping wherever needed. It has always been my dream to be a decorator for a church or whatever else I can do.” She said that the Holy Spirit is to be credited for revealing the talent of decorating to her. “I didn’t know I had a knack for decorating!”, she gleefully admitted. To God be the glory!
– LEAD VIDEOGRAPHER
Sister Macandrea Lesure is the Lead Videographer, leading a team of four other videographers, as well as, other media duties assigned. She is a 10-year Navy Veteran and has one child. “Being obedient to the Word of God motivated me to accept the role as director of this ministry”. Sister Macandrea confesses: “Whatever I can do to assist the pastors is what I aspire to do”. Her favorite Scripture is: “Seek thee first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be given unto you”. – Matt. 6:33
